We are a community farm collective, not just producers of food for sale. After two seasons of vegetable sales at markets and through our Community Supported Agriculture program, we have shifted this year into a new phase of the farm.
In the 2012 season, Sidewalk’s End Farm will offer high quality, organic vegetable and flower starts for sale to the public. This season we mature into a grower’s cooperative and herb sanctuary. We have begun to create a heterogenous landscape replete with annual and perennial flowers, vegetables, and herbs, fruit and nut trees and shrubs, and wild- type plant guild habitat old farmstead in the Kenilworth neighborhood of SE Portland.
The farm will continue to be a venue for sharing resources, projects, knowledge and inspiration in our next phase. We want to build a culture of mutual aid and we encourage you to join us in cultivating and eating the fruits of city farming!
“PLACE SETTING” a series of farm dinners in the neighborhood, at our gardens. Dinners are potluck style, featuring a main dish with farm produce. All dinners begin at 7.
